Travis’ Spag Bol

Spaghetti Bolognaise! A household staple dinner. But what happens when you go vegan? No more saucy Italian goodness?!

Don’t be silly! Even 5 year old Travis can cook it vegan! If you are the ‘written down recipe’ type, read on for all the details! If you prefer to watch the kid in action, then watch his video here!

On we go! This recipe cooks enough for a family of 4 and leftovers for everyone for tomorrow!

Ingredients:
Oil for cooking
1 Red Onion
1 TBSP Tomato Puree
Black Pepper
2 cloves of Garlic
1tsp Oregano
1tsp Rosemary
1 TBSP Basil
400ml Red Wine Stock (or vegetable)
500g Passata
400g Chopped Tomatoes
200g TVP Brown Mince
500g cooked Spaghetti
First, chuck your pan on a medium heat, add the oil and soften the onion.

Add the garlic, and stir it in. Then mix the tomato puree, black pepper and herbs in.

Pour in the stock, passata and chopped tomatoes. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes until it’s reduced a little.

Turn down the heat, tip your mince in and mix thoroughly. Let it warm through for a couple of minutes and add your spaghetti!

Dump it in a bowl, add some crispy garlic bread and scoff it! You even have leftovers to throw in the fridge ready to be re-heated tomorrow… yum!

Eat it with your face.
